Made a quick model to practise UV Mapping. Was sucessful, and now i got a .max file and a .uvw file. So now what from here?
(could use wrong terms here D: )

Right now, i wanna 'convert' the .uvw to a .bmp, so i can skin it, then place it onto the model (which is a poring)

Any help shall be appreciated ;D

You can download texporter here:

http://www.cuneytozdas.com/software/3dsmax/Texporter/texporter_install_v3.4.6.6.exe

Install this and you will find it in the plugins area, you might have to click the "more" button in that tab to find it. Then type in the size you want like 512 x 512 and then click "pick object" and click on the model, then it will automatically render the map and you can save it from there. You can also play around with the settings in the texporter menu, its a really nice proggy. But now 3DSM 8 comes with its own in the UV map editor, it works almost the same, but I prefer texporter.

Thanks guys. Just wondering, is texporter for 3dsmax7?

@Booler: Thanks, I'll try Google it.

EDIT: Never let bapplebo touch 3dsmax.

Hahaha. You play RO?
That looks pretty nice. Although the model might be a bit too abrupt with the point at the top of its head. Remember, it's like a squishy monster, so it should go into the point pretty smoothly.
