Two programs i'm looking for (to buy)

Since this is off topic i guess i can ask for some help in my search. I'm looking for two programs maybe someone knows of any? Heres what i need:

A video editing program, that can run them all (avi, mpg etc..) I have Adobe Premier, but it keeps crashing and doesn't support many of the files, like avi.

The other i'd like to find is a type of screen capture program. Much like hitting the "print screen" button on the keyboard, i'm looking for one that does just that, except can capture images from video files, (again avi, mpg), simply hitting "print screen" only gets me a black screen when trying to get a video screen captured.

So, does anyone know? I'd like to know just simply the name of some, that was i can buy them, maybe prices would be nice

thats the best video editer i have seen, it also comes with audio editer, vidio pant, so u can write things on bits of the video and stuff

Ok, thanks Tepus, i'll look for that, its probely much better then adobe premier (which is still crashing :cry: )

I thought instead of making a new thred i'd use this one, i'm in need of another program question, If i may ask,

I digged up my old miroVideo program and capture card. I use to use this back when i had Win. 95. I would, of course, use it to capture images from the t.v., like parts from anime.

Now i'd like to use it again, so put the capture card in my computer and installed it, (oh, i now have Windows XP), but it saying its missing a driver. Finally for my question. Does anyone know if theres a patch or driver out there to make this program work with Win.XP? Or does anyone know of a program like this i can buy, since this one doesn't work? Thanks

Oh and i've searched for one using google already if thats your answer.
