Tutorial??

Hey Folkes.
I'm the headsinger in my new band "Nialo"
And I need some help here.
Cause, I would like Growl. you know. like The lead singer from slipknot does.
just wondering. does anyone know about any websites where i can read and learn? or anybody who can growl?

Other than the fact that bands often use distortion on their microphones, just growl. You know, like an animal. If you've ever been taught to sing or talk from your stomach for projection, use that, it gives a deeper effect. Be careful though, lots of singers who do growl get all sorts of lovely throat problems.

Since it requires little overall ability and can be done by pretty much anybody (I've seen successful local bands just have their completely unmusical friend sing for their band and instantly do well), they don't usually give "screaming lessons." It's not that hard--just scream, dude.
