TRANSFORMATION HELP!!

when i try to transform my game just freezes and i have to press ctrl-alt-delete to get out,please help!

You should check a few things.
- Are you running in OpenGL mode?
- Are your video card drivers up to date?

If the answer to either of those was no, you should try that, and if all fails, it never hurts to reinstall.

answer to both those questions is yes and if you need my specs then just let me know

just try reinstalling hl or esf (prefably hl , more likley to be the problem with the game engine) reinstall and see what happenes (both hl and esf)

Newer drivers don't always help , if you put todays latest nvidia drivers on a genric fx5200 , you will se the perfomance drop (just look at a 3dmark score , thou this wouldn't matter on the asus gaming edition fx5200 due to a reconstucted gfx board and faster memory) it could also be your xp setup , as the hl readme will tell you that virus,worms,tojans etc. can screw with your hl exe

i reinstalled ESF and turned down the graphics and even the resolution and it still did it, it only does it when i do stuff like blue streak or kamehameha all the beam attacks
