For example, running 10 miles on a broken foot so you can finish a marathon? Not badass. Getting shot 3 times, running back into a building to save someone, getting shot 3 more times and still managing to find the will to carry on and continue fighting until you and the guy you saved make it out alive? Pretty badass.
