I think your talking about David Blaine: Street Magic, which was just on TLC like an hour ago. It's pretty sweet, and I have no clue how he levitates, or does any of the crazy magic that he does...

Have you guys never seen the misteries of magic finaly revealed? He goes out in the street and does the trick but never leaves the ground(he still has one foot on the ground) he goes on the tips of his toes on one foot as the other foot raises. he stands at a certian angle to the people he is showing it to so they dont see the other foot. Then after that they get a crain and lift him into the air for all the other sceens you see him actually off the ground... That is why you one see is feet when it happens. If they showed any higher you would see the harnes and the wires holding it up.

Yeh, I love how they always have those magic finally revealed shows. Really puts people like David Blaine in his place.
Like the trick where he brings a fly back to life. All he does is place a fly that has been frozen so that is can't move and when he puts it in the persons hand, the warmth from the persons hand revives the fly. Pretty weak, but looks amazing.

Well you can't tell me magic isn't real, since you can't proove that. Can people fly? Probably not. Bring people back to life? Doubtful. I don't believe in "magician magic," but I believe in "chi," and there are similarities. It would be hard for you to agree with one thing and simply dismiss such a similar concept.
I saw that show as well... did you see the trick where he throws a deck of cards at a window, and the one that was picked was suddenly stuck on the other side of the glass. Now THAT's weird, anyone got an idea how he did that?

some of the David Blaine stuff i can figure out but the card thing is just weird. but hey anybody who is crazy enough to stay inside a block of ice for 2 or 3 days (dont know how long) wont have everything figured out about him. BAD WORDAGE.

I saw one where david blain took a guys watch off his wrist and it appeared on display in a jewelry shop, and to get it the guy made his hand go through solid glass without breaking it, retrieved the watch, and there was still solid glass, thats ****ed up

The hand is quicker than the eye. Most of his tricks require assistants, such as throwing cards against a window, and the person's card appears on the inside of the glass. He has an assistant. I actually found a site that tells how he does a lot of his tricks. Biting the quarter, I bought one at a gag shop, the quarter has a folding side, he presses it down with his thumb, then when he blows, he releases it and it springs back up.
