well to be honest...its a start, i would however advise you to continieu with 3d studio max i used milkshape ALLOT before it and still do it sometimes but in the end you wil see that 3dsmax has allot more to offer like animating better skinning and modeling whise i just like it more but hey just download it and well do your thing ^^ goodluck with 3d modeling bro ^^

thanks, also i have no much time left on the models, but with 3ds max stuff.... i can't start that program. I don't quiet remember what it writes, but thats something about win32 problem. I have 5.0 version of it...
Ill try to find more time for modeling, coz modeling realy calls me to grab for it ; )

._. using 3dsm at the beginning doesnt make you pro.... lol thats not true.

Anyway to get pro you can get with "famous" programm.
Well you should take a look at www.poopinmymouth.com and look at the polyflows and might try to model the shoulders like he does.

well wat i want to know is who uses g-max lol cuz i need a little help cuz the tutorials are good and everything but i need something more like maybe how to make a torso or something cuz i only mad the mace and the scene. im starting on the alien head now.

I could ****ing kill randy for making that damn tutorial. He's inspired, I don't know how many "half-Torso's" with that damn tutorial. My advice would be to switch to something other than Milkshape 3d. I would recommend giving Softimage's XSI a shot since it's more or less free, or Blender 3d it's a COMPLETELy free package. Both, are pretty good programs and fit any financial situation.

i dont understand why people hate ms3d.... i'm using it and i think i can model quite good with ms3d
