This is not so unknown and the fact it's still a thing still surprises me, but among other things just as nice as this one, the bible supports slavery. I'm not even going to go into more details about the rest as I may be here for way too long.

Uhhh, no it supports shit like that. If a child disobeyed their parents it was the duty of his/her town to stone them to death. Actions placed by people were supported. The cities of Jericho and Sodom are good places to start. Where a genocide occured in Jericho. Also Sodom, can't forge tthat. When a pair of angels go to the one good guy's house, and is found out by the local enforcers. The enforcers were going to rape the angels, but the guy told them to rape his daughters instead. Y'know, cause they were only women, no big deal.
