The end of .Hack//

We finally get some pictures of it. One of the two reasons I now have to buy a PS3. There will also be a Movie to this which will end the series completely. The ending to .hack// is definitely going to make me cry. It is a series I have completely followed since the beginning and I am sure there are many other out there on these forums who have followed it.

I haven't yet started to get into the series, even after watching Hack GU Trilogy, which while I didn't understand, still found pretty epic.
If its alright, can you tell me where to begin the series? Would love to get into it, but with all those animations and stuff, I have NO clue where to start D:

Great series, but you have to be able to suspend your disbelief at alot of things.

I was totally in to .hack//sign when that was out on Toonami/adult swim, and tried to get in to the games, but there is TOO MANY for me to get in to again :/

I think I have beat the games at least 3 times each.

The first series is tough to get into, it is crazy repetitive. It's nice though, I played the first on PCSX2 and it looked great; got bored with the second.

Played .hack // G.U series two times though...now that series is awesome.

Just sometimes my brain has trouble dealing with how lame some situations are, if you look at them.

Holy **** that's a lot to go through. Is it alright if I just play the games, and read the summary for each book? And perhaps do the same for the anime?
I am assuming everything besides the fighter is for the PS2, should be able to emulate everything :V

Well you won't learn the whole story to how everything actually happened if you skim through things. You will get the gist of it though.
