This weekend i went to my local blockbuster and picked up the game The Bouncer for 6.99 (very well spent)and i played it and beat it in about an hour or maybe two i didnt really pay attention to the time, but does anyone else think that squaresoft could of done so much more with this game? I mean it was a good game, but i could have been alot longer. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yeah. But most things for me are too short. If it's good, that is. For one thing, Mr. Mosquito was too long, but Final Fantasy 8 was too short. Lol. I noticed Squaresoft is really down on its games lately, though, so I don't expect too much from them anymore.

THE BOUNCER IS ONE OF MY FAV GAMES FOR PS2, not couse square soft made it, lol, im a big fan of squaresoft. I played the bouncer around 40 times thou... it seemed to get harder and harder ever time i played it, and, you come to it, you guys should use a bit more of your brains, im sorry to say.. but have you thought of tekken that takes, 20 mins to get thou one time. but then they did have more characters to play thou the game with... but then the bouncer did have different ends, cut sence now and then, with the 3 characters.... Over all, its a lot better then tekken is, And how you can run around in battle, well u can do that in tekken 4, but not as well, and it has some very outstanding graphics.

Squaresoft rock, they have made soooooohooooo many good games. FFX wasn't that bad, and beating the dark aeons was ****ing hard! Not many people are able to beat them, so dont say it was easy. FFVII was short, much shorter then FFVIII. But the best Squaresoft game ever made has to be chrono cross, followed very closely by chrono trigger. Both brilliant games of note. The bouncer kinda sucked, too short and easy, and that little girl was annoying, i wanted to kill her instead of rescue her.

Lol Chrono cross was alright but it was not the best square game in my opinion.Doing that color thing to use the crono cross was way to hard! Probably the best square game would be kingdom Hearts if you ask me. I mean talk about creative!Who ever would of thought of a @#$%ing Keyblade? Also some parts of that game were hard! Lol is still havent beat Sephiroth. This is a little of topic but has anyone seen the preview for Kingdom Hearts Deep Dive? ITs the new preview for kh2 that came with kh final mix.

SquareSoft is a great company. The Bouncer was a really fun game(for as long as it took to finish that is). The multiplayer was pretty fun for a while too.

Final Fantasy VII(7, for those who don't know Roman numerals):p was probably one of the best (if not the best)Squaresoft game.

the bouncer was crap. id rather play street fighter 2(original) anyday over that pathetic game. u say tekken only takes like 10 mins to ebat well there is a reason for that. it isnt a side scrolling game, its an actual fighter. you really shouldnt even be comparing the bouncer to tekken because they are in 2 completely different catagoreys. you should be comparing the bouncer to something like streets of rage, in which case the bouncer would still lose. square soft has been going down hill in gameplasy since FFT and FF7, the went up graphics wise but they sure didnt go up story wise

So totally have to agree with 1m4 on this, he said everything I was going to post. You can't compare the bouncer to Tekken. The fact that you did implies that you haven't been with the series long.

length means nothing in a game

hell u could beat the orginal metroid in under 1 hour but is that a bad game

nope not at all

almost all of the good games havent really been more than acouple of hours long so u cant really judge a game by its length

I'm 10 and complete 4, 5, 6 and the bit when you have to find Aeris in 7. Plus secrets of mana and chrono trigger. And games are either to short or a to long i.e Baulders Gate 2.

I have played the game a bit and my brother took it in turns like we got through it soooo quickly, they could have made it alot longer. And square has been going downhill as RPG's arn't what they used to be.
