Okay so, for the past few years I've been searching for "The Truth" or "Secrets of Life", and I must say that my intellectual self has shifted to the High Gear because of it. Yet this was only possible by staying completely open minded, and that included realizing that even my deepest beliefs had no real foundation for the belief.

I started out "searching 4 the truth" after 9/11, and had woke up the common sense of what really "didn't" and what really "did" happen. Because of that event, I've seen the bs in Government, and that only intensified my search into more gov bs. After 9/11 i couldn't think of where the truth may be except 4 the Bible. Tried reading it, got bored.. but was still hooked because of the fear of going to Hell if I didn't get saved, and because of what I learned as a younger kid ect ect ect.

to speed things up, i learned about other religions + gov corruption/lies, examples: judiasm, buddah, aliens, disease,ect... But each one seemd to have some truth, but not the full story.

Eventually I met up with StoneCold Christian machine online, and this guy had his stuff down. He knew his stuff when it came to Christianity, he was "saved" ect,ect.. He taught me the Christian concepts about Jesus/God/Trinity/Father/Son/Holy Spirit. He also taught me a method of finding the truth. His words: "The truth doesn't contradict itself". It made obvious sense, but i never realized it until he mentioned it....

Through that truth searching method I found many "truths", and today.. I believe I've done what I've wanted to do ever since I had my doubts about the Bible... I Cracked it and found its' BS that may turn Bible believers into none "Bible" believers.

I mean this is CLEAR CUT AND DRY. I hightly doubt there is any way twist what the BIBLE's words are, into any other meaning to support the Bibles "so called truthfull credability, like the many lines of the Bible are capable of.

Let me also mention, that this doesn't mean the entire Bible is BS but I highly doubt a lot of it now. Yet there may still be truth within it. Let me also mention, that this doesn't taint my belief about God. Because my perception of God is different from most.. from what I know.

They did run full thrust at the Lord and his army, the army covered them: they sank like lead(material) amongst the mighty people/warriors.

Clearly to me, this is describing a WAR.

2 be honest i still havne't let it go completly, only until i read a LOT more will i feel comfortable doing so... I'm betting there is a LOT of this all over the Bible, i just haven't really picked it up and read it.

VideoJinx, you won't find any of the answers you're looking for in books, bibles, scriptures or YouTube videos. The thing about scholars and philosophers is that they traveled a lot - usually around the world. Rather than settle with what a book stated or what someone said, they sought to experience it themselves. Simply sitting at your computer most of the day/week isn't going to get you any closer to understanding the world if you're not willing to take a single step outside of your house. You can definitely learn more about the world from talking to a complete stranger on the street than you would if you read a book or watched a YouTube video.
