The All-Seeing Eye

When i try to enter a game of ESF through the All-Seeing Eye, a program like gamespy, it gives me an error message:

AppName: hl.exe AppVer: 1.1.1.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106 Offset: 00002054

and a huge list of numbers that would be to huge to put on this page

the All-Seeing Eye works with any other hl mod, just not ESF

hm ... it works fine for me ... try reinstall esf or All Seeing Eye
and I know many guy who are using it

i reinstalled both of them, and it still doesn't work

could it be because of new models, maps, and sprites?

Nope. That wouldn't be it. I'd try going through File->Setup Wizard and manually hooking it up. If that doesn't work you may as well back up your current graphics folders and reinstall ESF.

i heard from support of all seeing eye: try updating your nvidia drivers

<mac_> Contact the mod team - it's probably something in their mod
<mac_> or ASE is not calling it correctly
<Ecks> make sure you're up to date with the mod, half-life, ase, and all your drivers

i have updated versions of everything, ASE is an autoupdater so i need not worry about that

my friend is having they same problem, could it be my version of ESF is somehow corrupted? i burned mine for him onto a CD

does anyone want to see the entire error message, i can cut of the wierd #s on the bottom . . .

Sounds like a corupt file to me. Try just downloading it again.

i reinstalled my graphics drivers before i went to bed

when i get home from school, i will see if it works

i dled a new version of ASE, and it didn't work

i am dling a new version of esf and am going to see if that works

btw, could it be a corrupted map? i dled a bunch of new maps off of redsaiyan . . .

edit:
i finished dling a new version of ESF, i installed it, i didn't add any extra things, i then tried to play ESF through ASE, and i still get the error message

it makes me very very sad :cry: :cry: :cry:

before u connect try updateing ur connection in all-seeing-eye in the network tab, the info here may be different to what r actually getting

well i'd uninstall my esf and halflife. get a new install of esf maybe, then install.
it might be some new stuff you downloaded, perhaps your graphics card don't agree with whatever it is? i dunno

did all of that, and i doubt my GeForce has anything to do with it, other mods for hl work right
