The idea comes from DBZ legends on the psx. In that game whenever your opponent is combo'n u, you can dash away at any time to break the combo at the expense of ki.
I believe this would be a good add to ESF because if you play 1.2.3, you know there are some really good players out there. The common 2 hit air, 1 ground, kiblob and beam is an almost immediate finisher. I have found that when I play, I can usually hold my own until I make a mistake. One mistake that usually cost me my life. Instead what I am suggesting is players who have good ki control should be able to break out of that combo (2 air, 1 ground...) by dash/swoop in any direction at the expense of ki and continue fighting as if they got a second chance.
