well first a question why do u have to hold the LMB to pump more ki in the PS?
it's useless it's the same as not holding anything because ur pl does all the work for u!!!
i belive it would be better if it was so that u have to push the button and that would work so when u start a pl u push the button as fast as posible the one who pushes the button faster pushes the other beam away (if the players in the strugle have the same pl) let's say that it would be in percents 70% does the pl and 30% does the LMB
i know it would be bad on a higher ping :( but it would be super on lan games
just have an option that enables or disables it ;)

um, no....if you hold the LMB down you have a better chance of winning (this applies to 1.1 too) holding the LMB down already pumps more power into it sort of...they just dont have an animation for it in 1.1, which i believe theyre adding in 1.2

I think we should copy the system of other mods ... we want to seperate us from them ... this system also would cause scripts ...

just wait til our coder had time to code pumbing PS'

im not talking about the animation im saying that it makes no difreance if the players in a ps are boath holding the LMB or not
shure if one is holding and the other isn't toe one who is holding it starts wining but it still depends only on the pl of the caracter in use my idea is to make it to 30% depend on the spead of the person behind the computer and cause ping would be a problem there should be an option to turn it on, off

exemple:
players A,B have a goku with 1.000.000 pl
in a power strugle
A,B holding LMB (pumping ki into attack) = A,B not holding LMB (not pumping ki into attack)

my idea:
A,B in a ps boath pressing LMB as fast as posible the one who pushes the button faster (constantly) wins this should only be 30% of the work the rest 70% does the pl

A lot of people have said that they don't want ANY aspect of ESF to be a "whover can press the button the fastest wins" game

yeah, games like that are kinda bogus on the comp. Keyboards and mice just aint as durable as a console controller and they get worn down pretty good, plus it just aint as fun as with a controller.

it shouldnt be just holding it.. u click the button and u add more ki.. it should be like that.. but the more u pump into it the faster ur ki drains

definately not, the fact that ther person who clicks the mouse faster is horid... and the fact that the move clicking is only 30%? it should be 50%-50% or nothing at all. Also, the pumping ps is a good idea, holding the LMB is fine and i dont believe the team has any intention to change it

I heard that the PS system was going to be adding some sort of "switching gears system". I read it on a thread here once. Alas I lost it

Well The whole "who presses faster is not good", because you could script it, and whatnot, I like it the way it is alas it is true that it really doesn`t matter much, what could be done (if they feel like it, afterall the team is the one that decides this), is that in a PS you press and hold the LMB button, this drains your KI (the more you hold it the more it is drained), and when you release it your beam becomes wider and a ball travels trough it (yeah i cant really describe it, its like what goku did against Vegeta in the SuperSaiyan saga) this would move your beam closer to your enemy. What I like about this is tha you nedd a little more stategy, because you have to use your ki well.
Well what do you think.

ill try to explain his idea of the ball going through the beam. ok ... when your in a ps (take vegeta and goku for ex) you hold left click, your ki starts to drain faster, you let go of the LMB, and since you have charged all of that up ki, you would send a energy ball that was bigger than your beam through to where both beams intersected, making your beam bigger in overall size.

think of it like this

1. ------------------) (--------------- two beams hitting each other.
2. ------0-----------) (--------------- person holds LMB and release to
send ball of energy through to tip
of beam.
3. ------------------)) (-------------- your beam gets bigger and you end
up with the advantage.
4. -----------------)) (------0-------- but other person can do same
thing.
5. -----------------)) ((-------------- making both beams equal.

but you have to consider the possiblity of lag for this cause if you had two large beams on the map, it would slow it down good.
