Hey guys, I'm havin some trouble trying to edit my hosts file. I'm using Windows XP Pro SP 1 and all I wanna do is add some IPs in there.
Every time I uncheck Read Only from the file's properties it automatically switches itself back on, if I delete the file in an attempt to make a different version myself, a new one instantly appears to take it's place. Overwriting it with a new one also doesn't work as it just reverts back to it's previous state containing only the text;
127.0.0.1 localhost
Seeing as some of you here are really smart with computers I figure maybe there's someone here who'll be able to help out. Thanks guys.
