At least you admit that there music goes like the way i said, so i wasn't completely wrong If you like the 'goes crazy, slows down, goes crazy' type of music, try the Guano Apes. They can do that a whole lot better, and did it a whole lot earlier then SoaD (not completely sure about the earlier part....). As a bonus they also have a goodlooking female singer instead of the Osama-lookalike of SoaD

They might have a meaning, but that does not quarantee they are a good band. The Manic Street Preachers have a meaning. Does that make them an excellent band? Not in my opinion.

If you wanna hear something really completely different, try Radiohead. Rammstein is different to. Now those are bands with their own distinctive style. To me System of a down is just the a little better than average standard rock band.

Don't take me wrong, i like system of a down, but i don't think they're as amazing as most people here think.

anyone here that doesnt like SOD must not have heard enough of there music. I have even gotten hard core rap fans to start liking SOD. But anyways not all of there songs go crazy,slow,then crazy again one example i can think of is Prison song.
