your moves could maybe be restricted to generic beams and stuff thats weak since your suppreced. And even may have less health and speed etc. But that would suck for supressing but that could be the cosiquence.

Totally agree with this idea. Goku and the other Z fighters did that all the time in the show. Totally works.
