steam help

ok. i just made the switch for won to steam. does any1 remeber what the short cut was pointing to , i remeber it had something like drivevolume:/steam.exe or something , does any 1 remember , i am asking this coz i can't be bothered to reinstall 1.2

edit: when i installed 1.2 i changed it to what the other mods shortcuts were like (hl.exe -console -games esf) i can't remeber the shortcut target for steam

The shortcut would point to wherever you installed steam - possibly c:\program files\steam.
My esf game is located at: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\esf

The shortcut system for steam is different from the old WON system.

For instance, if you load up steam and right click under 3rd party games on esf, then click create desktop shortcut, it will generate a shortcut for you.

Mine is this: "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 70 -game esf
Copy that, change the steam directory to your own and try that.
