Start up bugs

I seem to have a little problem. Ever since I got the new Half Life update (1.1.0.9) I can't seem to play ESF. As I start up a new game, join a game, or start a lan game I get an error and it shuts down. I was wondering if this is a common bug that alot of people are finding. Or if I am the only guy that has this. I am part of a team making a website (DragonMod Central) and the hole team aprears to have this problem. We wont to do a section on ESF for our site, but its kinda hard now. So, can I get some help?

yea i know some guys having the same problem , dunno what the hell that is , but i have another problem , i have hl1108 and cant play esf anymore , i have english update 1109 but it doesnt work for me , i need the german update , but i cant find it!!!!!! if there is anyone who knows the link , plz tell me
