why is it called attack of the clones?

they defend... not attack

hmm was it the droid army shooting their own ships down

in defending they attacked and fought off but i would have picked a better name like

dark risings
um
hope
army of the republic
downfall of the republic
the shrouds

the army of the republic would of been a much better title
