Spirit Bomb and its many uses!

I dont know if this has been mentioned before but.. What about when Goku uses his spirit bomb other players (teammates) that arent inantely evil (Cell, Frieza, Buu, etc.) could target the bomb and offer energy? A little box would pop up (Candy attack anyone?) and you could select how much energy to donate, which would be entirely out of hitpoints and could only be done once per spirit bomb.
Any positive feedback would be appriciated.

Wow...really good idea, seeing as how the spirit bomb takes energy from other things living...unfortunately I don't think that it would be very practical until settings are made so that there can only be one Goku in a game...if that ever happens. If you have 4 different gokus charging up spirit bombs what do you do? To make my point more clear, I would change it so that whenever someone on your team charges a spiritbomb, you dont have to target it, a menu automatically pops up...but then again scratch my idea cuz if you were in a melee battle it would totally suck...so I dont really know, I like the basic idea but I think it would be hard to implement well...

i think that, it would be cool if you could just donate power.
like you could push a button.
pick a player.
and then hit donate.
and a little rack would come up
and you could give them how much pl you want.

LOL for instance, give them 000,001 pl LOL.
that would own tho.

i got an improvment for it...

u could donate energy just by shooting the SB while goku is holding it. even enemies will donate energy if they will shoot at the SB while he's holding it. what do u think? that could be dont just like gohan's shield

What it sould be is if goku starts teh spirit bomb the you will have to walk up to that pwrticular goku with sensu beans active then a menu will activate saying please type in teh anount of power elvel you would like to give.

Ahh thats a good point. You could just get a bag of Senzus and give Goku all your energy, then eat a bean, and do it again and again and again and make a giant Spam Bomb in 5 seconds flat.
I like the idea of giving others energy, but I can't think of a way to get around the Senzu problem without getting rid of them.
Right now though you can throw a Senzu Bean at a team mate if you want to give them energy.

and i just think it would be a waste i mean no one would give up energy which makes it useless

practicly the only time it would be used is on clan battles...



not to mention id imagine how hard it would be to make it so people give pl to make the genki dama stronger...



all in all ok idea but wouldnt work well in esf

it should be an ability that u select a number, target a friend and left click, donating your KI and refilling their ki, or another with the same thing, but with health instead! and as for the spirit bomb, it should be the same thing but for the spirit bomb, but u donate ki. charge up, donate ki. but u cant move and your COMPLETELY vunerable!

Erm if you took out the whole "spirit bomb" part, I think there's potential there. If you could donate power level to a team mate (clan/earth league matches) it could add a little more tactical strategy to the competition. Obviously nobody would use this on a public server unless they were leaving, but on a team like the earth league you might have a couple of dying players give whatever they had left to the final member of the team. Obviously you wouldn't want the transfer to go totally untaxed, so only about half of the PL donated would be transfered, but it still might be enough to turn the tide of battle.

*Obviously this would only work out in a seperate earth-league/clan match based game mode.* Otherwise you'd have people killing themselves by donating all they had to someone and then just respawning and doing it again. I'd like to see something like this workable and in game by about 1.3 or 1.4, modified of course.

GUYS!! doing my suggestion isnt hard at all!! all u do is shoot into the spirit bomb! and it can be done just like gohan's energy shield! easiest thing!

Quite actually, its not a bad idea. This is what im thinking of... A goku on your team is charging a spirit bomb, you press powerup ( regular KI recharge ), aim at the player charging the spirit bomb, and then hold onto fire. Instead of restoring your ki, your KI will slowly drain, and your power will tranfer to the spirit bomb. If you donate like 5-10% of the energy, you also get the kill if / when the spirit bomb kills an enemy.

With the "giving pl to team mates", i would suppose that would work in a similar matter. You will hold onto power up, aim at the player you want to give pl to, then hold onto primary and secondary fire at the same time ( so you wont start giving people pl by accident ). It would take about 2-3 seconds for the energy to start flowing, but you can transfer 1 mill pl in about 10-20 seconds. And ofcourse, there would be some type of limit that would only allow you to give so much pl, and you cant give out more pl then the classes starting pl ( So you cant give out pl till you reach 0, and then just kill yourself and respawn )

Ofcourse, none of this will happen any time soon, since we have a lot of other important issues to attend... Nice ideas though

Yes, just what Goku needs, more power . . . he is already by far the best character in the game in terms of moves and such. Give some love to Trunks and Vegeta before I go crazy and start Bakahatsua-ing innocents. ;/

I think Trunks needs more. He is my favorite character and has almost nothing. So I certainly hope his sword is going to add a little more to Trunks.

I think that pcjoe has the best idea for it so far...imagine that...but on the note of trunks, i think that switching his attacks (ba ball fb beam) would greatly improve him alone

Or how about this, if there are some team mates or even enemies nearby your spirit bomb. The creation of bomb or strength of the bomb will be increased slightly.

The more people near you, the more power it gets.
Even the trees could make a donation or rivers.

how about if you want to donate to the spirit bomb just target it and a small animation plays and a set amount of powerlevel is given. That way it would be cool and true to the show, but it wouldn't really slow down the gameplay.

I think people would donate to the bomb. It's kinda like Gohan's shield. Whenever i see a teammate with a shield I throw a kame into it just to up it's power a little.
