Songs that lift you up.

I discovered that there are a lot of songs that can really lift my spirit up when I'm feeling depressed or just plain bored. Songs like Anthem (We Are The Fire) by Trivium, Never Say Die by Black Sabbath, No Remorse by Metallica, Crying in the Rain by Whitesnake, and Beyond the Dark Sun by Wintersun. Those really work for me.

So yeah, basically this thread is about sharing songs that can lift your spirits in any way. I, for one, wanna hear them.

Without the help of music, it would be nearly impossible for me to escape times of slight depression.

Any Video Game piece from my collection of hundreds of songs from various Video Games, gets me up easily. They signify a great deal of my past nostalgic experiences, and once I revisit them all is re-gained.

OMG, that song reminds me of the game Earthworm Jim 2 when Jim gets turned into a Salamander XD (it's played in the background.)

On topic: I don't consider it sad, either. It's just really, really peaceful, and I need something energetic to lift me up. But that's just me.

I actually credit metal to my generally happy-go-lucky, chilled-out nature. Metal is there for the ups and the downs and that's what I love about it.
