Some of the sounds don't work

OK, i have recently formated my pc and therfor lost everything. I have reinstalled esf and some of the sounds dont work like when i use the scouter: it doesnt make the sound. Also when i power up it doesnt make a sound like it shud. Is it because of my drivers arnt the proper drivers or is it an esf problem?

I'd try updating your drivers first and see if that fixes it.

are the sound files there for the power up??
what do u have the volume set to in the game??

I cant find the right drivers, how could i find out what model it is? is there a type of scanner i can download to find out?

2) what about reinstall esf? or reinstall half-life then esf
