Quick launch, in my experience, bugs out more things than icons do. Besides. FOr me having nothing on the desktop is sort of like having nothing on a real life desktop--why buy a desk to not put anything on it?
You guys'd hate my ****...I have like 50 icons. lol

(Oh...and for the record...with quick launch disabled and all those icons, my startup time is ALWAYS under 25 seconds total...just for argument's sake)
