I'm like one of the last 10 people that still play BFP from time to time -_-. I could give yall a long explaining and comparision of the two mods, since I'm considered a vet in BFP and I've been playing alot of ESF lately.... Gotta get my fps above 20 before I can really experience ESF fully like I would like, but I can tell you whatever you want to know about BFP and how the two mods compare, IMO course, and I'm not a fanboy of either mod, so I think I can qualify....

*Cough*

:\
Thx

BFP only really had ESF beat in graphics, and even then only the maps, and beams looked better. In ever other aspect, ESF downright destroys BFP. That doesn't mean that BFP was a bad mod, I used to love it back before I knew about ESF, it just means ESF is that much better.

.........sorry to put it out like that but what is dead to you guy'?
i dont think bfp is dead, not in a long shot.
they dont inprove it but that doesn't mean it's dead, there are thousends of ppl who still play bfp........and do not care about eyecandy but play it for the speed and hardcore.
hl1 is't inproven a long time but still alive, what is dead about a well played mod?
By dead, I meant that the team isn't working on it anymore. And theres not thousands of people that still play bfp. Last time I checked, there was 1 server up with no one in it.

They're not porting the game to source, it's staying with HL1. The team decided this long ago, and nothing is going to change their mind.
Yes , as it's been said in the sticky and i also made a thread covering reasons for it not porting to new game engines

even thou bfp got shut down (the dbz part of it , then they fought of there own charcters and such) , is it still avalible for download anywhere on the internet ?

esf was the first dbz mod i played , thou i wouldn't mind cing what bfp was like

You're trying to tell me there are one thousand people playing bfp? Who are you kidding... Even when bfp was at its height of its popularity there weren't one thousand people playing.

AT ONCE, you forgot to add. You'd be surprised how many people play any mod. Like ESF probably has over 1000 players, just not at once.....
