It was announced a while ago but i hadn't heard about it till now.
You play as a stalker (a scavenger) looking for artifacts in "the Zone" which is set in Chernobyl in the year 2010... after a second meltdown in 2006. There are creatures, other stalkers(about 120 who can also finish the game),the army, and anomolies(forgot how to spell it). It looks like quite a fun game.

I remember playing the leaked version like 2 years ago, (while talking with Gonadz on skype... man, old times) complete with sounds ripped from counterstrike xD

It seemed cool at the time... looks kinda dated now... but all the russian/cyrillic makes up for it

Heh, was a pretty cool alpha. I liked how the sky looked in the game.
