I can see why people don't like the new direction Resident Evil seems to be going in. I'm personally not that crazy about horror games, so I'm not complaining about how it's going now. I enjoyed RE4 and 5, so hopefully 6 will be as good.
and yeah, I haven't been able to look at the 6 the same ever since someone pointed it out when the game was first announced.

@Z Nah, I agree with him. It didn't know if it wanted to be an action or horror game and imo failed at both. 5 came out and I enjoyed it more, because it finally decided to pick one and stick with it, I hated what they did to Chris (my personal fav.) but dealt with it.. the big down side to me was the stiff controls. Now, I want to go on record as saying that I still think 1-CV:X are the best RE games ever, and I MUCH rather their style of gameplay. Now, talking about RE6, they give Leon (my least favorite character, not because he only became popular with RE4, I've just never liked him) the only good looking part of the game, the one with actual zombies and a 'horror' tone to it.. then they put Chris in the balls to the walls action sections, which just shouldn't be in RE anyway...
I just, idk. Let me know when it's on sale for 10 bucks and I'll check it out I guess.

Leon's character to me is the equivalence to Sasuke in the middle of Naruto to me. Let alone I just couldn't stand it not being a Zombie game anymore. Resident Evil 5 was ok. I as well thought Chris was the best character. Him and Wesker were the ones I though of most when it comes to Resident Evil.

Didn't even like him cause of the whole 'being a main character' deal.. was more so that playing as him in RE1 was the "hard mode" for the game. Even in Code Veronica, only getting what Claire left behind for him.. dude was always on the short end but battled through. 5 is the first game I can think of with him that started him on an 'even' playing field.. just wish it was a horror game and not an action one.
