I've played a lot of DBZ based mods like BFP, DMZ, and even one for Doom2, and whole lot of others. I think ESF is probably one of the better ones out there, but in my opinion there are some small things the mod team could do for future releases:

*When turning SSJ saiyan character's hair should flash yellow then black
*Vegeta's renzoku should be longer (about 3x longer) ie more blasts.
*Piccolo's eye beam should be constant (balance this out by making it weaker, but uses less KI)
*A missle cam type view would be nice, makes steering beams a whole lot more fun and easier.
*The scouter should be able to scan through available enemies by pressing a button.
*The turbo aura should be animated.
*Throwing dragonballs should be charged up to throw big distances.
*Cell should be able to absorb players when their health is low
*When a player is stunned be a melee attack and is lying on the ground it would be cool if the attacker could do sort of a diving punch into the player on the ground (watch DBZ movie - Cooler's Revenge to see what i mean)

I don't know if any of these things have been suggested before, but these things will in my opinion improve ESF greatly

The Cell absorb thing was sorta suggested by me :).

Ok, the hair flashing yellow and black isn't needed, so it's a rather small cosmetic change that isn't needed much.

More ki blast for Vegeta's renzokou will LAG and if too many people use it once the server could crash!

Piccolo never shot his eye lasers for more than a few seconds anyways.

Beam camera has been suggested before. I don't remember the decision, though...

I think they're working on the animated aura for 1.2.

I think the moderators have said before that it's futile the suggest things for CTDBs mode, since it's still in production and the end result won't be anything like it is now.

You can punch people on the ground, they just have to be rolling... Besides, most would rather shoot ki blast.

Actually when you use piccolo's scatter shot by just holding secondary attack while pressing primary, you just constantly throw little weak ki balls but about twice as fast as normal, and it doesnt lag, thats what i think vegeta's renzokou should be like Just stronger.

normal transformation should have flashing hair, near-perfect transformation should have hair slowly turning gold. perfect transformation should have some sort of explosion or sound effect or whatever to signify transformation instead of just POOF - you're transformed

aura's should be sprites instead of models; in the show you never see more than the two wobbling "lines" at the sides of someone; they should do that in ESF too

That you only see those 2 lines is probably because (in my opinion) the dragonball series are quite poorly animated..
For example, you look at non-moving screenshots quite often..

If they would make the aura a sprite, it would look REALLY ugly..
It would kinda 'cut the model in half' or something.. think about it and you'll know what i mean..
