you wouldn't believe how many people have this

The problem with remembering things, especially when they are as abstract as dreams, is the fact that your memory is easily changed. And it's easy to dream about an "idea" then later on have an experience that relates to that "idea" and then your experience in that situation shapes your memory of the dream.

IT's happened to an assload of people 200 times..doesn't make them psychic.

"Deja Vu" just as prozzeh said. :D

But who knows, you might be the next Dr....psychic..guy. I dunno, go to a psychic and ask him/her if you're psychic..

I believe this ties into the "fate" and "destiny" clause, having "deja vus" mandates that your witnessing your "fate" and "destiny".

I have dreams like that as well, but for some reason, they are rather short, and only show like 20-25 seconds of the "future."

You never suffe Deja Vu, untill the experience happens. So you really aren't seeing the future, you just think back and go "Hey, didn't I think this was gonna happen?"

When you dream something, do you ever know this is going to happen? No, you usually forget about it, then when something happens, you relate it to that previous thought or dream.

Aren't you basically agreeing to disagree?

Yes you are, your saying that deja vus only happen when you live them, which is what the basis of deja vus are.

So, your trying to argue that deja vus are only deja vus, when they are deja vus.

Agreeing to disagree.

No, I'm saying in order to see the future, you would need to understand you are indeed seeing the future. Merely applying the present to a dream/thought you had in the past has nothing to do with seeing the future or being psychic.

When you get Deja Vu you are like stunned and go "Hey, did this happen before?" but you can't picture exactly when or how, you just get the sensation that it did, but these Deja Vus are only short blips. You never have a Deja Vu of the entire day. It is always short, and when the Deja Vu happens you can't remember what happens next, untill after it happens and you go "Hey, didn't I know that was gonna happen?"

What I'm saying is, you can never apply a past memory to the present, untill afterwards. So you have no control or any idea what will happen next, but afterwards you get the feeling it had happened before.

When I have deja vus, I know I am having them. It's like an alarm system in my brain, and I say, "Deja vu."

So then you can edit how things happen, thus controlling your fate and destiny in some instances?

Yes that is how deja vu happens

It is probably due to lack of sleep, I know for a while I was getting 3 hours of sleep a day and I began to believe that I had some gift, because I kept on having these thoughts in my head that seemed like the future, but not quite. See it has to do with your memory, when you don't get enough sleep your brain has problems changing short term memory into long term memory, so it gives you a mind trip in which you think you're predicting the future, but you're really just having problems processing what is going on presently.

I never said I could control my dreams, I just recognize them becoming a part of my actual life, again.

If you know the future before it happend you can change it thus making the future null and void meaning you don't know the future.
