Problems With Update

Hi, I'm having a little problem playing Half-Life MOD's (including ESF) on my school's computers....lmao. After I install the update, I try to play a game only to find out that all my controls are erased. I go into the Controls menu, and all the controls are empty. I set them, and when I resume the game, they I still gone, and when I return to the Controls menu, they are still empty. If anyone has this problem or knows a solution, please respond.

i think they got some sort of protection for it of some sort.
since they also got it in cybercafe's (in the netherlands that is. dunno if that's the same where you live)

Woah, I can't believe this thread is still active...
This was like one of my first posts, lol.
I've long since figured out why this happens, the defaults wouldn't work either.
For some odd reason, the config.cfg file would erase itself whenever the HL update was installed.
So I just bring my config.cfg file with me on a disk now.
