I have this problem
Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs
I searched in the forum and done evrey thing you said!
i installed
fmod.dll
into the half-life directory
i changed the client.dll thing
i installed it over and over again
its doesn't work!
here is some screen shots of the directorys
and i installed Version 1.1 because its done the same thing in 1.2

Well, if you tried the newest fmod.dll, then there is only one solution: stop joining servers whose version differs from yours. If you have 1.1, and you try to join a server, chances are you are trying to join a 1.2 server. As for using 1.2, there is no reason why it shouldnt work if you have the newest fmod.

r u sure you have ver. 1.1.1.0 not 1.1.0.8?

ssj3 gohan - he is using stream therefore does not use halflife patch numbers.
Guy_A - if you installed 1.1 again that is the reason for your client.dll error - this is also caused by different versions of the mod.

That fmod is 125kb, yours is 124. there is a difference so I believe you have not got the right fmod. Try the one in my link.
