Not likely, religion are rules put forth by thinkers, and people are stupid enough to belive..... (i believe in evolution)
Do you enjoy media with lots of violence (Movies, T.V., Video Games, Music)
You bet, i see nothing wrong with "chilling out" or the like, by watching something thats "action packed" as for games, it's just another form of fun, some might play chess, i blow people to bits on a computer. Music, in a way for me, i listen to "Heavy" music, i find it's a really good way to channel my emotions, so i listen to this, and in a way it relieves me of my anger.
Do you have children
not that i know of...
Do you approve of children viewing violent material
Depends on the amount, and type of violence and the age of the child, id' say totally not to anyone under 10, 10-13 however, i dont see problems with them "seeing" and playing animated violence, such as computer games, because, they would know it's exactly that, animated, fabricated, make believe. I certainly won't be letting my kids if/when i have any watch violent movies until they were in thier teens.
If yes, how much: small amount, moderatre, extreme
as i said above, it depends really on the type, and age.
Should the government regulate media violence
No, not at all, that would be like making it illegal to wear black, it's not only stupid, but it stops people from in some cases seeing the truth, and important things that are happening, such as war, that is extremely important, no matter how violent.
Does violence belong in the media, please comment
It depends on the type of violence really, if it was news related, such as a terrorist attack, then most definately yes, if it was a show were people just beat the hell out of eachother, then no, thats pointless and stupid, violence in games/music however isnt hurting anyone, unless you think teenagers knowing swear words and the like is bad, heh, if so you have enough problems to deal with

, most of the language, and "violence" used in music, is "jokes" as it were.
