sorry for posting again
i have a bit of a prob
with the release of the beta which is exellent by the way i have wanted to have some bots
thanks to blade he has made an alpha.
ok i have tried to access the console but failed i have done
CSierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -dev -console -game esf
now the thing is when u push ither the ` key or the ~ key the console does not open i ither get nothing or a message saying console is 1.0

okay i think there should be a shortcut in ure esf folder. Type -console there and open it from there. now u help me, how u get the name change thing down? im dumb and i dont get it

damnit never mind. try to connect to an esf server via console. get server ip, go to any in the starting hl page u should have a console icon click there and through console type: connect blah blah blah. then when u make ure own game u should have a console

u wanna change the bots nick?
try / changenick /new nick
as in the bots name then change nick to new nick
