when i play counterstrike (halflife mod) most of the servers say that i need cheating-death so i downloaded it. when i tryied to use it (open it) it says dont close just open counterstike so i did and it didnt work if any one has c-d or cheating-death and it works/knows how to fix the problem tell me

Make sure that run CD's updater, to make sure you have the most recent version of CD, that was my first mistake when I downloaded CD.

You probably downloaded server, not client. Download the client version.
