Photoshop/Font Error

I went and downloaded 5,000 different fonts and installed them all at once. In an unwanted result of overestimating my computer's power, the font installation caused problems. When I try to use the text tool in Photoshop, it stalls for a few minutes until it fully dials in every font I have installed.

It does this each time, and the fonts even make Photoshop sluggish and unbearable. I was wondering if there was a way for me to download all of the default fonts that WINDOWS XP comes with, while being able to delete all of the ones I recently installed. In other words, reverting back to the regular amount of fonts I had previously.

Thank you. I took an alternative route which was basically a quick System Restore to a couple of days back. It removed all of the fonts I added and now Photoshop runs much smoother.
