Pak0.pak?

I was wondering if there was a pak0.pak file for esf? or does it use the HL pak0.pak? I ve been having problems when a server or i change a map, it say valve/filename.wad is missing. I just thought these may be connected in somway are they? THX

pak0.pak files are often used in HL-mods ... but it's optional
ESF doesn't use such a pak
