if you just have condition zero then ESF will not work.

If you have the retail counterstrike, halflife, day of defeat or the generations pack it will work.

no. if you just have condition zero it will not work.

You need the retail counter-strike (that is not with condition zero) for it to work.

Actually, you can just download steam and get it like that. I formatted my comp and realized i had lost my HL discs. I got steam again and everything worked!

if you have a legit steam account you don't need a HL disk anymore, you can just log-in and download Half-life using steam

well it does kind of work in condition zero (i used to use it on that before i went online and got steam hooked with cz so i dont know if it works now) all you have to do is install esf in that folder then add -game esf or something, that was a long time ago and it does work
