ok i bought my hl copy help!!

ok i inputted the cd key in steam and ran the game once and i installed esf 1.2.3 beta and when the installer loads up to 100 it say trhis (quote)the installer you are trying to use IS CORROPTED OR IMCOMPLETE.this could be the result of a damaged disc, a failed download or a virus.you may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.it may be possible to skip this check usin the /NRCR command link swich[notrecomended]so any help plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!very much appreciated,sstrunks9914
