i saw on saiyan saga, and even on frieza saga, and kid buu saga, thats its possible to block a beam whitout blocking, they just stretch their legs and arm compleet open, and let the beam goes in them, how about add this? BUT! your healt loses really slow, like you lose 4 healt in 4 seconds, and you can smash the beam back!

So are you suggesting there should be an absorbing block. Where instead of struggling with it you try and absorb the blast into yourself?

the idea of absorbing an attack would be cool, instead of risking running into a wall while you are blocking, you can at least weaken the attack by giving up ki instead of health

nope ... he suggested to block beam with only using KI
the chars in DBZ are powering up thier aura and the beam will fly again ...

Tien did it in 23th Budokai with Tao Bai-Bai's Super Dodon-Pa ... he but that was different ... he scream that loud that the beam disappered ...

but I think he mean mean block with your KI/ aura

I don't think it's a good idiea ... I think it's good as it is now ...
PS: if you PL is MUCH MORE (maybe 100x) higher than the others, you'll smack away beam without blocking

true, but most of the time your PL is the same as enemy, atleast a few millions lower, or higher! this block cost 1/2 less ki, and it will drain 1/2 more HeALT!

In DMZ they have two block modes, normal block and absorbing Ki block.

It goes like this, if the beam hits the target. The target uses Ki to completely absorb the beam, instead of throwing it back the beam will completely vanish. Maybe the block can be useful when you're in a area that has barely space, so you can absorb the attack instead of damaging yourself by throwing it away.

But I doubt that the team will add this....

The block wasn't finished for some characters, and I've played the mod too. When I used Cell, I used the block mode to absorb some attacks.

Raditz and a number of other people have "disipated" the ki from weaker blasts instead of just pushing them off in another direction. I guess its harder than just pushing the blast away from you since you would have to put in an equal amount of ki to disipate it I would imagine. Would be kind of cool to see but i don't think it will be added.
