That post was frigging pointless NeLo..

Anyway, I like DBZ but the edited version that people think is good isn't as good as it gets.. CN cut it to bits and gave you guys half the show. Alot of the decent story/fighting has been cut out due to the bad language.. fighting or any other kind of offensive material. TBH I think they should show the unedit series at night so that older fans don't miss out.

ya think?? o_o I think DBZ should be outta there cuz its just getting old about the reruns etc. They should keep Kenshin. Cuz he is da bomb let me tell ya. Hehehe. So i say get rid of the "frigging" dbz reruns and put in lots of YuYu and Kenshin!!!! no more of this Cyborg ****. That cartoon is Frigging pointless. :laff: :laff:

If you find DBZ a stupid anime then why are you playing this game.
DBZ anime is different then other anime's.
Its more a fantasy anime.

But i do agree at the point that kids are getting violent because of DBZ.

Results:

1.Kid jumps off building and think that he can fly
2.Kid that grabs a knife and slices someone in pieces and shouting 'DIE FRIEZA!'
3.Kid suicides hiself and leaves a note too his parents that he is under his way too king kai for a special training
4.Kid grabs cd's and throws it around and shouting "DESTRUCTO DISC"
5.Kid runs outside shouting 'NIMBUS!!!!!' for no reason
6.Kid gets punished by his mother and shouts "YOUR POWERLEVEL IS WEAKER THEN MINE"
7.Kid walks around and poses (right word?) every minute as a ginyu
8.Kid playing ESF 24/7

Just because people dont like the anime, it doesnt mean they wont play a game that has good fighting ect. It was decent all the way up to the end of the freeza saga where goku would have originally died, but because they wanted cash they made many more ****ty episodes and called them sagas... (Buu/Cell/Android/ect)

But seriously, Toonami is gonna take alot of popular anime and turn them into slop where millions of people go crazy and name themselves after characters, such as all the DBZ fans.

LOL! Phatslugga has got it right, any and every cartoon(anime or no)/movie/book begins with that. Drama makes a soap opera, action makes a cartoon. Dragonball Z has lots of drama, besides which, especially when dealing with people like Vegeta.

Why don't you compare that Vegeta boo-hoo drama to say... Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is nothing. That's why people look down on DBZ.

Not that I prefer ALL drama; no, I don't really know a good anime that is nothing but drama (and jesus christ, if I write the word "drama" again, I will shoot myself) but there are some which can balance action and the latter very well... much better than DBZ, giving it more depth.

DBZ is aight.....the fighting is pretty cool, but it gets old quick, first they do some cool moves..animtors get lazy and just show the guys movin vedry fast showing the same clips over and over, while it switches to another guy having a flashback where yet agaiun the animators got lazy so they take some scenes from old episodes, then the fighting guys ´stop fighting and take a breather for about 5 min. and then they start power strugglin for about 10 min. then they suddenly flash back where yet agaiun the animators got lazy so they take some scenes from old episodes. and get a burst of energy and win....now take this scene and put it in every saga over and over and over.....and drama!?...if u think this is drama....then go read a book, cuz its not.

I think the problem they faced in DBZ is that they wanted to make the fighters look stronger and faster but it wasn't possible as they had already animated to look fast which is why they ended up doing the stupid 'flashing around' style. Ecchi Pron, you might want to deflate your ego a little or you won't get it though your door...

You can make petty shots at me, but if thats what you resort to, its pretty sad, and is underlining that i won and you have to move on quick without ppl noticing your failures. Im a socialogy expert and understand how you work before you do it.

Crying isnt drama the componets in which the action unfolds is drama, and current events shouldnt be something that sets off the drama it should be something they carry with them rather then what is thrown at them

They should show the OVA's hehehe THEN it would be Toonami for kids over what age?? Whats the age for M rating?? I dun remember but i like watching the ovas. Bloody as hell but badass none the less. I got an idea maybe they could combine the Ovas in some way then release it as a movie :tired: I think they should cuz that would be awsome to see! I know a lot of u know what im talking about eh eh? :laff: Like release it as they did with that Akira movie. I like that movie too. Petty shots? No, i'm merely pointing out the obvious, You're far too ****y in my opinion. I'm not resorting to anything, you haven't proven me wrong at all, all you have done is thrown your opinion down my throat and assumed that you had somehow shown me the error of my opinion. The truth is i don't care how many anime's you've watched, i don't care how much you think you know or how much you actually know about anime's/drama. My opinion is that you are not giving DBZ as much credit as it should receive. your vague description of plot can fit into ANY anime becuase it is the generic skeleton anyone uses to make any story. Every anime needs conflict, and every anime needs that conflict to be resolved. I don't care how unique or how different the anime's plot is. there is ALWAYS a conflict. You must remember your opinion does not reign supreme. At this point i guess i'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't know what in your mind told you that you won this argument, becuase it's far from the truth. If you think you;ve claimed victory becuase people point out that you have a giant ego, well that's an odd way of winning an argument. I'm used to the old fashioned days, when you actually had to prove someone wrong. I'm glad that you're at least truthful about your ego.
