I heard that Guild Wars uses Unreal Engine 2. Is it true?

Nope, the engine was developed in-house by ArenaNet. Reportedly, Guild Wars 2 might use the Unreal 3 engine, though. I have to say though, it is a VERY optimised engine, capable of running smoothly on even old PC's and still looking good.

i found it really really childish, however i requires absolutely nothing to run compared to the graphic you see in it. Some ppl find it hilarious though.

It's really fun not sure what you're on ;o

So far it's really good... don't expect it to be like the mainstream MMOs. It's made for everyone to play and it also takes a bit to understand the game.

Also it does take a system to play it... I'm playing with a 8800 GT on a 1680X1050 res maxed and I'm getting around 27-30fps... :\
