New variant on "ki blobs"

In Dragon Ball Z, when, they created ki blobs:
-They weren't clear (they were opaque, usually yellow)
-They weren't spheres
-They didn't do anywhere near as much damage...

The Ki blobs were usually, as the name suggests, a blob (not really spherical at all). Everytime a Ki blast struck the energy already built up, it would cause another blast, and deform the "blob," as it were. The blobs didn't do all that much damage, however. For example, Cell was hurt only a bit by a Ki blob, and then ended up booting a surprised Prince of Saiyajins in the head, knocking him down to the ground...

I realize, that, the variants might be a little more intensive than the regular spheres, but, more than 7/8 of the gaming computers these days can handle the new variant, I'd say.

i agree on one thing the blobs WERENT see through its impossible to do a surprise attack when your inside a ki blob this should be fixed

most of the time yes they were spheres usually on the ground which it would be half a sphere

if they didnt do alot of damage they would be useless and besides it starts off with not to much damage but more energy you pour into it the more damaging it becomes

Then by your logic, characters must have gone from 100 hp to 1000 hp at the end of the Saiyajin conflict, to 1500 hp at the end of the Freezer conflict, etc. Because the characters could take a LOT more damage as they got stronger.

Especially Cell who got enveloped by a bigger Ki Blob than you can even make in ESF, and yet didn't take more than maybe a minor flesh wound...

Ki blasts do way too much damage. Generally, each blast can do up to 10 damage. Combine 2 simple melee hits with 2-4 ki blasts, and you've probably lost 30-40 hp. Turn turbo on, and you've lost quite a bit more.

However you can't aim the hits nearly as well as the Z warriors could so I'm guessing the enhanced damage makes up for this...

however I'm all for the change in Ki damage reduction...
But I do like the KI blob damage...

Whats so hard about placing the aiming reticle over your opponent? Just aim, shoot a few ki blasts, and you're done.

all these people got stronger and stronger and the more stronger they got the less damage they took from ki attacks and melee (in the game of course) not everything in the show is related to the game not to mention the show had things that arent added like for instance when a saiyan went into a rage they got considerably stronger and could get up and attack better than they would if they were at full health so they didnt gain health they gained power and in the show cell could constantly regenerate it might be me but i dont think he can do that in the game

The stronger they became, the stronger their enemies became. So basically, ki attacks would do the same amount of damage no matter what (except maybe for buu and/or cell).

Yes i dont get whats up with the transparency, but the blobs in the show wer like a semin circle because of the ground and were white and glowed the color of whatever the blast was (yellow, blue, pink, ect.) Ki blobs actually DO do alot of damage if the power levels are close, especially when you explode them, it just looks weak. So the damage should be lessed when the ki blob is not exploding and the special effects tuned up.

People move...
O_O OMG REALLY?! I thought they sttood still so you could Ki blob them and gain Pl!

Also , people teliport , and when someone knows your switched to a ki attack they usually take the chance to attack you hopeing you'll be focused on switching back rather than attacking/defending.

But I do like the idea of ki blobs doing more explosive damage...
(it would also be fricking funny when someone SB's your Ki blob , that happend to me , fricking funny ,I think i died from the other side of the map...)

man if someone hits you then throws a ki blob... you won't be able to dodge it, no matter if you hold mouse1 or not.

As for you jumping off the ground... thats a situational thing.

Avenger is right, people usually don't do it. I think the main reason someone wouldn't do it is because they don't expect to get hit

edit: heh, sorry for going off topic...

Yes, good luck pressing jump when i hit you two times leaving you in the air. Yes, you'll find it quite difficult to teleport away when you're too busy trying to recover for a ridiculously long time. I can guarantee i can get 4 ki blasts off of you before you can swoop/teleport away.

when you melee hit somone they are knocked back and move almost as fast as your ki balls / generic beam so when I don't recover and just come to a stop , I can teliport just before it/they hit , or i samsh into a wall and jump away.
But still , I think the damage is fine.

You're new to this game aren't you?

Damage is still too much. If you want high damage quick attacks, then gen balls should be used.

i think ki blob damage is fine but it would be nice now and then if when just radicly shooting blasts every where if it would kick up some smoke or some thing well only on the ground cause when cell came back and vegeta freaked out and just blasted the crap outa him all there was was smoke :D but i dunno if graphics can handle that
