no final shine, is the attack vegeta used on buu as a last resort attack.

in other words, he blew himself up trying to kill majin buu

that is self distruct, final shine is the attack that vegeta uses agains super 17(gt)

I don't think the KI should be the life force. But if you lose all your KI while you are in a struggle your life should drop instead of your KI. And like it's now, when you're out of KI you just descend.
But I do think it is good to put the big KI drain on SSJ3 otherwise it would be invincible don't you think? And as I said, I think the Life level should determine how far you can power up.
And the advantage you get by fighting in low PL is like this:
If you fight in 50% of your PL than it would be twice more effective.

pretty pointless of a power down button though? i think esf have enough buttons to play with during game play without adding more...

If your gonna use ideas that were thought up by other people, make sure you give them credit, by giving a link to their suggestion. Your system appears stable, but your kinda "stealing" other peoples ideas, and putting them into your own.

For example. Your KI will at times, always regenerate, unless your flying w/ turbo on, and the transformation system seems stable enough, the KI requirements for each transformation is also good. I do agree with some of you, charging your KI is not DBZish like. :laff:

Btw there is a use for the Power down button. you can use it to gain more KI when you're low on it.
And another advantage of fighting in lower PL than your max PL is that you can use more KI for fighting instead of Powering up.

hell no adv melee is wack, basic melee > adv melee

i am happy with the system right now, woteva u are suggesting, IT SUX, just leav the system alone, everyones happy, nothin new to get used to, LEAV THE SYSTEM ALONE!

Well in my humble opinion Orbits system is quit good, it needs some tweaks though.

I think you should regenerate your ki slowly even when SSJ3 and when you are flying.
But maybe you mustn't move (or charge or anything) for some time to start regenerating ki slowly.
It would be like resting your character and he could have a hard breathing animation. It may happen that two chars regenerate in front of each other like in the show (I mean stop fighting for a while and talk) but that would take down the whole high speed gameplay. I
f you want to regen faster, you have to trans down, but what is with cell/buu/krillin??
Not bad that system, you can power up and down (to a certain level) depending on your skill difference, and someone with a high skill can power down to gain more PL (increase its max PL limit) and recharge ki faster
and if your skill is lower you power up but that will exhaust your character more.
And if you are SSJ3 your character can't hold this form forever as he loses Ki constantly, but he has a lot of ki so you can beamspam if you want (not that I appreciate it) or charge other large attacks, but if he does too often he has to trans down to regenerate.

Well, not bad after all. But it is a whole new system, changing the whole meaning of ESF, so maybe it could be implemented as a mod?!

I'm not a coder. If I was I wouldn't be writing here today.
But you have to understand one thing: Goku and SSJ Goku can do exactly the same number of KI balls/Gen balls/Khh. The only difference is that SSJ Goku causes more demage than Goku does.

One more thing. Transformations that last forever don't use up KI. That's another advantage for Krillin. The SSJ3 KI use is necessary for the game. Otherwise you will get SSJ3 and will pwn the fight. It makes sense doesn't it?

Ok got a couple of questions on this: By beating other players ur maximum PL is increased? You can manually change the KI and PL to suit ur needs? What is the function of PL? I mean every1 will use KI as a basic since that controls all ur enery. Or is PL your strength? like how hard u hit a person and how hard u can fly?

I think SSJ3 will need to have the KI drop. according to that witch when goku showed ssj3 to chibi trunks n goten he expired his life energy for that day. However, as shown in the episode where Goku stops fighting against Kid Buu and let Vegeta kill him, he could once again collect the energy he lost (KI)

It looks like a really cool system :)
