New sig, need small help

ok i am going to make my own sig and i have never done one before but i have messed around with photoshop and stuff so it will be a learning process for me, anyway to the point, someone please answer a few questions for me thanks.

-what does SIG stand for?
-how big should it be? (pixels and ratio)

ummm i thought i had more, but i guess thats all i want to know so thanks again ^^. oh yea if someone could give me a link to a sig tutorial id like very much.

Sig is short for siggy.

Siggy stands for signature.

The rules, taken from the stickies.

The rules for sigs are as follow

Size should be kept in 600x200(WxH) as usual
No Porn or Hentai
No text that would usually get edited by the forum (in the image)
The maxium size for sigs is 200kb. (This may go down)
