New Forum?

I know that there was talks of closing this forum down and starting anew due to some database problems (?), but I'm wondering if thats still the plan considering Sky bought a new vbulletin license. If anyone in the know could shed some light, that'd be nice

Well, the plan I heard was we'd get a brand new forum to post on, but this would would be left up as a viewable archive.

I say wait until they know the exact reason why the corruption started in the first place. If they don't, there's no point because the same thing might happen again.

If they already do know the reason and can prevent it in the future, I'm all for making a new forum, while keeping this one as an archive.

Currently, it appears we will be keeping this database.

Yea, the current forum & database will stay as it is. The only problem we have so far is a few user problems caused a long time ago by a possible database crash, I don't know honestly. But the current 404 and 403 errors has been fixed, as I never get them anymore.
