I ordered a new computer for university, here's the specs I went with.

Mouse: Dell 2-button scroll mouse
Network Interface Card: Integrated Intel PRO 10/100 Ethernet

looks good. Just grab a 5 button mouse for some seroius gaming and your set.

...? I use a 5 button mouse, not sure how I'd play without it. Using it I generally playing ESF with one hand.

Left click, right click, jump, teleport, and recharge. It's basically all I need for melee.

5 button mice are the only way to go now adays. Too many things to bind in games like raven shield...

bind shift and q thats all ya need.

wasd = movement
mouse = aim
mouse1 = shoot
mouse 2 = secondary/switch weap(depending on game)
mouse 3 = crouch/jump
shift = hook
q = laser/random extra
space = jump
123456789 = weapon
e = use key
b = buy key

thats all ya need right there

Don't worry about the sound, I have a sound blaster extigy I can hook up to it :p

Extigy is the external audio card right? Thats just as bad because it chews up CPU power as it is not internal - however, it is good sound.

But not as good as my Audigy Platinum Ex :p

take it you are getting it from dell, i just got my new computer from therew

dimension 8300 2.8 processor
60 gig handdrive
ati radeon 9800 pro
512 ram, there all the good bits :)
