Need help with HDTV

i made the mistake of buying a HDTV from wal-mart once, got my money back and shopped on newegg.

the customer feedback is a good way to gauge how good/crappy a tv is

Samsung and Sony are the primary brands you really should look at. LG, Sharp, Panasonic, and Vizio can be okay TVs if you can find them pretty cheap.

If you go to Costco or Sam's Club, I'd really suggest looking at the TVs there. They have a lot of good HDTVs in your price range.

Ah, I wish we had a Costco over here. Thats only West Coast saddly. We got Sam's Club though. Im gonna check them out. I can put that on my Credit card and pay like $20/m for it.
