My Sound

I'm having trouble with my sound when I play, I have sound for a few seconds then it totaly goes out. I'm wondering if this is due to the music and the game sounds at once. It may be my sound card, I have a Sound Blaster Audio. I would really like to get my sound working again because I love this game but its not gonna be much fun without any sound. Thanks alot.

Did you leave the game or do you have ANY other programs running? If so that might be your problem, also chack and make sure your audio setting for HL is set to the right settings.
