Sup all!
im new here and i want to show you my new map for ESF...
This is a map of "Capsule Corporation" and the city.
Im a newbie mapper ;D but i hope you will like my map.

Download the map
Right Click and "Save Target as" (dont use dap/getright/........)
You need to unzip in your ESF folder (default is: C:/SIERRA/Half-Life/esf/)

ps: Search for the Easter Egg :laff:

the textures are really high scaled, and its very dark. is it one of your first maps you made? ^^

Well, he says he's a newbie mapper, so yeah, i think so, nice one buddy. You should have added a sphere for the capsule building, but hey, you're new to mapping. Keep it up, and you'll get a good hang of it.

thanks all... that's only a wip...
not my first map (first in ESF) but i maded maps for CS...
im trying to create models in milkshape: Lights, Capsule Corp (Sphere), Trees, Some cars...

Can you answer my question: Can i create models in 3dsmax and export to halflife? (im good in 3dsmax, but a newbie in milkshape) lol :p

Allthough models are prettier then mapped objects, i highly recommend you map as much as you can, including the capsule building, if you want i have a nice sphere somewhere, cut it in half and you'll have a nice capsule building. Contact me with a pm.

Definately highly scaled textures but not bad for your first ESF map.

:no: The high scaled textures looks really ugly, sry to say that but thats it.
:no: Map looks ok, but the textures drags the overall DOWN....

:yes: Brushwork looks good though
