I've been making the switch from max 7 to max 8 (getting used to pelt mapping), so I'm about to model the head right now so look for that soon. The body's already mapped as well.

Pelt mapping? Well basically you pick the where you'd like your seams to be, and max pretty much does the rest :)

dont forget his hair kinda curls infront of his face from the side, even though in the refs it was hard to tell (cuz i had to draw him kinda clean from the side, like i said earlier the hair will need different refs to my drawing =/)

Yeah, I was just getting everything extruded i'm still working on it :p

Well I've got the mesh finished (for lack of a better word) now comes the fun part skinning :)

Any fool can see that's it's a screen cap w/ the veiwport set on "Flat."

Any fool can see that "flat" has the same effect on the viewport that 100% self-illum has on renders ;o. They both display the models shape without any shadowing....

Now I am just interested in seeing some more on the skin.

and how many elsew theretorys do we wanna open? =O ?

maybe you can do a lil 3d vid of rotating the model <_< ... cuz there cann be many ways to make it look good from one view... but is it otherwise also, i dunno just would be nice if j00 could m4k3 5uch 4 pr3v13w .... thought looks good.
